Dear Toby
Excellent trip to Xian! Good flight times. Hotel accommodation was great, especially having the extra benefits of the executive room with free drinks + snacks in the evening. There was no swimming pool, but the sauna/Jacuzzi facilities were good.
The driver for the 2 days was very careful. Unfortunately there was so much traffic on the road that we only managed to see the warriors on the first day, although we did spend a long time there. We saw the 3 sights the second day, but once we left the main roads the driver had to ask for directions at the junctions because there were no signs. We appreciated the complimentary lunch as the drivers had initially some to the wrong hotels on day one.

Dear Toby
We are in Shanghai now. We are having the best time. We loved Dan in Biejing. She took so much care of us. Far above what was expected. She is the most wonderful person. Now we have Mary to care for us and she is very knowledgeable. We are learning so much history of the home she loves. Thank you for putting this trip together for us. You may use me as a reference.
Many blessings and thanks,
Sally

Dear Jimmy
Tour Guide in Beijing (Ms. Andra): Language skill is poor. We asked questions but she didn't understand the question. Sometimes she answered the question later.
We didn't think she knew muck about the place we visited. She did not do an introduction to the great wall, did not go up with us. We get more information from our travel book.
Andra was rushing us through places. She did not want to walk access the road to look at the Olympic countdown Clock. She told us that going to Mao's mausoleum would take too long even thought were listed on our itinerary. (We did go there.) At Beihai Park we only saw a little of the island. Summer Palace was great.
I recommend that you not use Andra again.
Feedback from Uniquelychina Travel (Mr. Jimmy, Customer Service Department):
Tour Guide:The tour guide, Andra, has international tour guide license issued by China National Tourism Administration but was in bad mood when guiding you in Beijing. And the tour guide has been fired out.
As a leader in our field we accept our responsibilities as well as our rewards. And we offer you the following two compensations.
1.
Chinese Landscape Painting (made of silk, by Hangzhou Silk Factory)
2.
Refund with RMB 1, 200
Feedback from Our Clients ( Laura L. Gaffigan) :
I am pleased that the situation was addressed so quickly.
I appreciate the offer of compensation. It is a great surprise and much appreciated!
