Dear Toby,
Thank you so much for a wonderful trip. Your help on the night our flight was cancelled to Yanching was beyond the call of duty and greatly appreciated. If I had to do it all again, I would give Mt. Emmei a miss. However, the large buddha in Leshan is a must and we're glad we paid the extra to our driver and guide to go there on our free day. All the other places and sights were wonderful. Everything with the guides and drivers went flawlessly. We loved Yanhshou? ( is that how you spell it ? ? ? ) at the the end of our Li River trip. That place is fascinating and the show there by the minority peoples is out of this world. Thanks for sending us to that. We've never seen anything like it. I hope your conference in Beijing was fun and worth while. Overall, we have nothing but positives from the trip and really enjoyed our experience. I have already passed your company's name and in particluar you to several people here thinking about traveling in the future suggesting they think about China. China as a destination is a must. I see there is terrible flooding in China. The province next to us - Alberta - is having the same problem with flooding. Mother nature is a mighty powerful force that just shows us how vulnerable we are. Again, thanks so much Toby and good luck in the future.
Other Points:
Hotel in Beijing was excellent. Did not like the hotel in Chengdu+ Mt Emei.. When you are a couple, you want 1 bed not 2. Take that into consideration in future bookings.
Food - I would not recommend the breakfasts in the hotels in Chengdu+ Mt.Emei. All we could eat was toast + coffee .No western food was offered. Lunch + evening dinners need more variety. Westerners need more western food meals mixed in. Our final dinner in Shanghai was awful.
Tours- all excellent choices .It would be better to leave Yangshuo in the evening of the last night+ stay in Guilin. We had to get up at 5:30 a.m to get to Guilin on the travel.
Sincerely, Don & Jane

Dear Toby,
Need more different meals other than Chinese food. But everything else was excellent. Tour guide was nice and enjoyable.

Dear Toby
Some points to assist you
E-ticket from Shenzhen to Beijing. We did have to pick up a paper ticket from the Air China Counter which are only found out after we had queued for 15 mins at check-in .Might want to ensure that tickets are really electronic to save wasted time.
Train ticket from Shanghai to Hangzhou .Thank you for the post-it note saying the station was called Meilong but this was a change from the itinerary and we nearly missed our train because we didn't realize. We probably should have checked but making the change very obvious on the post-it would be advisable to save confusion.
Overall we were very pleased with the service, inparticular from Toby and I have subsequently recommended you to friends and family.
