Thank you! Could easily have spent more time in Nanjing+Suzhou. Organizing the trip to Zhouzhuang myself was complicated, an addicial tour would have been easier. Chasing train tickets at the hotels also stressful-but never resulted in a problem at the end.
Tunxi Hotel: great location but little heating
Nanjing Hotel: good service
Suzhou Hotel: great location, new but no window in room.
Shaoxing: simple but very interesting
Hangzhou: poor location-too far from center

Dear Toby
We like the hotels in Macau and Guilin. We had some problems checking-in in Sanya and Nanning because the staff at the desk has no Englsih and did not recognize our names on their booking forms. (both hotels put us in touch with an English-speaking manager eventually).
Maybe our passport numbers could have been used when booking, or alternatively you could have provided an introductory note in Chinese saying who we were.
Apart from this we had a fantastic time and hope to use your company again.

Hello Joy
Both Hotels were very helpful. The Xi'an Hotel arranged for the rental of a car + driver for the day...very inexpensive... 350RMB (pick up at hotel, drop off at train station)
Both Toby and Joy deserve more.
