(2). Time & duration of visits: (Rating: 4) 5 days/4 nights would have been even better. Because, in fact, with the flight schedule, you happen to spend only 2 days there.

Remarks:
We specifically asked for 2 connecting rooms on the day prior to our arrival, I even called the hotel to make sure we will get these connecting rooms. They say " ok no problem". But when we arrived, it was not the case anymore. We had to argue for a while, before they managed to find us connecting rooms.
We complained to the swimming pool's manager that the children's pool was being cleaned at 10:30am, while all the children were playing inside the pool, Can't they clean it early in the morning, we asked??

We enjoyed our stay in Putuoshan very much.
The hotel was very good but absolutely child unfriendly. I felt the whole trip was not for families. We had to organise everything ourselves in the hotel so I must say that I had expected more from a travel agent to book rooms next to each other instead of complete opposite sides of the hotel. Than the trip to the harbour was extremely long and we just arrived on time for the boat although we left 10 minutes ahead (!) of schedule. I would also expect a travel agent to think ahead and arrange a coach back for THREE FAMILIES WITH SMALL (VERY SMALL) CHILDREN. We did not fit in the bus back and had to arrange another bus!!! Than drop us of down town (just under the bridge) is not very child or family friendly.
Again I have to say we liked putuoshan very much but we expected more of the package. Luckily we had several chinese speaking persons.....
