Shanghai
Pudong International Airport is a new international airport
and it is located near the East China Sea. It is about 60 km
away from the center of Shanghai City.
A cab (using meter) should cost about RMB 160 (US$ 20) and 1 hour and 20 minutes from the airport to the town center.
You could also choose the high speed Maglev Demonstration Line
from the airport to Longyang Lu, No.2 metro station. The Maglev
Demonstration Line cost you RMB 40 (USD 5) and only 7 minutes.
Then you could take a taxi to the town, which will cost you
about RMB 80 (US$ 10) to the town.
Remember take the taxi at the taxi queue outside the arrival
area.
